Karl Mikael Ling is a Swedish designer and architect. The objects on this site are the results of ideas that can be seen as an alternative parallell to the work created as part of Förstberg Ling, the studio co-founded by Ling together with Björn Förstberg.

The chair Fay was originally conceived as a closed line sketch and later presented for the first time in Stockholm 2011. The prototype is made from powder coated steel wire with a seat and backrest made out of form pressed veneer.

At the same exhibition the Standard Table was also available for viewing. The table is an exercise in detailing of connections. Three pieces of folded aluminium make out the tabletop while acting as beams and connector points for the turned wood legs.

In 2016 Karl Mikael Ling started production of the bike hanger Pincher. Made out of two parts of solid metal, the hanger packs flat and is given its final shape when mounted on a wall.

In 2019 the lamp, Witness, was presented. An item many years in development in the studio. Produced by Wästberg, the lamp offers different degrees of indirect and direct lighting.
